ladder
Given the task of designing a “Contemporary Hunting Trophy,” I created a sculptural object that tells the story of a specific hunting event. The twists, turns, and angles individually represent specific instances which occurred during the hunt, while the overall ladder form is used to portray the hunting process as a whole. This object serves the same purpose as a mounted kill, while also looking at how forms can be used to visually express specific experiences and meaning.
This project was completed for what was to be an exhibit on hunting trophies at the University Of Oregon but which was later cancelled due to COVID-19.
